What should I do before the enhancement?

We have created a complete Enhancement Checklist to help you prepare. Please review the checklist on this page before enhancement weekend for important steps you may need to take.

Getting Started

Do I need to know my account number?

Yes. You will need your account number when enrolling in the new online and mobile banking experience. We encourage you to locate your account number before enhancement weekend.

If you need assistance finding your account number, our team would be happy to help.

Is there anything I should save before the enhancement?

We encourage you to save or download any previous statements or account history you may need before October 30.

If you need assistance obtaining a statement or account history, visit one of our branches and our team will be happy to help.

Will I receive an October statement?

Yes. All members will receive a paper statement for October, including members who normally receive eStatements or quarterly statements.

If you are currently enrolled in eStatements, your eStatement enrollment will continue after the enhancement.

Online & Mobile Banking

Do I need to create a new online banking username and password?

Yes. All online and mobile banking users will complete a new enrollment beginning November 2 at 9 a.m. Your existing login credentials will not transfer.

What will I need to enroll?

You will need your account number, Social Security Number or applicable TIN/EIN, email address and phone number.

Can I enroll through either the website or mobile app?

Yes. Beginning November 2 at 9 a.m., you will be able to complete enrollment through online banking or the new mobile app.

When can I download the new mobile app?

The Greater Experience CU Mobile app will be available beginning November 2 at 9 a.m. It will not be available for download before that time.

Will two-factor authentication be required?

Yes. Two-factor authentication provides an additional layer of protection for your account.

You will establish two-factor authentication when you first enroll. You may also be asked to authenticate when accessing your account from a new device or recovering access to a locked account.

Authentication options will include text message, phone call and other supported authentication methods.

What happens if I enter my enrollment information incorrectly?

For your protection, five unsuccessful enrollment attempts within a 24-hour period will result in a 24-hour enrollment lockout.

If you are having difficulty enrolling, please contact our team for assistance before making repeated attempts.

What if I am a joint owner on an account?

Each joint owner should create their own digital banking access using their own Social Security Number, phone number and email address.

Once enrolled, you should automatically see the accounts on which you are a joint owner or co-borrower.

What if I have multiple accounts?

You only need to enroll once. After enrollment, you should be able to see all eligible accounts associated with you through your new digital banking access.

What happens to the My Card Rules app?

The separate My Card Rules app will go away. Card management functionality will be available within the new Greater Experience CU Mobile app, giving you more functionality in one convenient place.

What happens to SpeedyLine?

SpeedyLine will remain available, and the phone number will remain the same. You will need to re-enroll beginning November 2.

The first time you call, you will enter your account number and the last four digits of your Social Security Number. You will then be prompted to create a PIN for future SpeedyLine access.

Bill Pay & Transfers

Will my Bill Pay information transfer?

Yes. Greater Experience Credit Union will continue using the same Bill Pay provider, so your existing payees, scheduled payments, recurring payments and payment history will transfer.

Do I need to reschedule my existing Bill Pay payments?

No. Existing scheduled and recurring Bill Pay payments will transfer without any action from you.

Will recurring transfers I created in online banking transfer?

Transfers established by Greater Experience Credit Union will reconnect automatically.

Recurring transfers that you personally established through online banking will need to be recreated after the enhancement.

Will direct deposits be affected?

No. Your existing direct deposits will continue without any action required from you.

Will ACH transactions be affected?

No. Existing ACH transactions will continue.

What about person-to-person payments?

Person-to-person payment services available through Bill Pay will continue through the new digital banking experience.

No. If you are currently enrolled in eStatements, your enrollment will transfer automatically.

Will I still receive a statement for October?

Yes. All members will receive a paper October statement, even if you normally receive eStatements or quarterly statements.

After the enhancement, members already enrolled in eStatements will resume receiving eStatements.

Will my existing account alerts transfer?

No. Existing account alerts will not transfer. You will need to set up your preferred alerts again after the enhanced digital banking experience becomes available.

Will previous check images be available?
